I agree. We have a ALS-600 working with the TS-480SAT using the ARI-500
interface. The problem is that the manual's instructions for the TS-480
and Kenwood radios is incorrect. Two of the leads are reversed, don't
have the document here to say which ones. The last time I checked they
haven't corrected the ARI-500 manual. Ameritron sells a Kenwood cable,
so it must work. (BTW, the Ameritron made cable is wired correctly).
I'm amazed that Ameritron has not corrected the manual, nor have they
made available an errata sheet with the correction.
