Right now, I'm leaning more toward the ALS600, but the 1300 is not out of
the question.

I just doublechecked, and the MFJ 998 handles 1500 watts.

Haven't checked into Palstar auto-tuners yet, and may do so later today,
although, as I said, those likely would take more out of the budget than I
can afford right now.

Haven't totally decided, though.
