Hi;
As previously stated I have tuned several amps with little difficulty with 
an audio tuning aid.  Some amps, however, require you to keep much closer 
track of the grid current than others.  I was never quite certain if just 
tuning for maximum output would be sufficient.  I "believe" this might have 
been a concern in amps using 811a finals among other tubes.
