This is just personal preference but even though it is larger and the 
battery doesn't last as long it seems much more economical to just keep a 
lap top up to date.  I don't have a problem plugging the thing in 
occasionally or carrying something that is a bit larger.  The constant drain 
for updates that sometimes are of questionable value can just get old!
