I usually don't do a double post to this list, but I am not sure whether my 
question from last night got through.  I was traveling, and, although the 
internet access at the hotel where we were staying was pretty good, it was 
flaky at times.

Anyway, can someone tell me how to do a PL tone search with the TMV71A?

I tried this several times, using a combination of the tone and function 
buttons, but couldn't seem to get the right combination for the tone search 
to work.

A number of times, while on our vacation trip, doing a PL tone search would 
really have come in handy.

The manual simply doesn't seem to be very clear on how to do this.
