Hi Richard:
I do not know what it replaces but I first saw it at the Dayton Ham Vention.
I planned then to get it when it was available.
The time has come and I hope to have it very soon.
It has many features: Sky Command, Echolink anong other things.
With the speech modual, almost every feature will speak!
That's about all I know now but hope to tell you much more when I get it.
