All you need is a quarter wave length for each band.  It's not particular 
about how you run it.  Straight is best, but it will work in a pile if 
necessary.
Vibroplex made bugs, never heard of a straight key or paddle from them. 
Very well made pieces of machinery.  It's amazing what they created befor IC 
chips.
