Well, yeah, these things are cool, but compared to a ZIP drive, they're also
pricy.  I just bought the USB ZIP drive (no external power required...it's
transmitted via the USB cable) and it cost me $103 and every 250 meg of disk
storage costs me $10.  The drive weighs about ten or twelve ounces and is
ideal for portability, especially as there's no power converter, as are the
media.
