Hi Tom,
Your situation really stumps me.  I don't know what would turn off the 
Winamp hot keys unless another program is using them.  You might try one 
more thing as a test.  Turn off the automatic startup feature for Jaws so 
that Jaws does not automatically startup.  Then reboot and play a file in 
winamp and see if the hot keys work.  Maybe jaws is holding on to the keys 
once it has loaded.  Remember alt control J will restart jaws and you can 
turn the startup feature back on after the test.

The only keys that work are the right and left arrows for fast forward and
rewind.

So far as I know, I have no key macro program running on this machine.
