Actually, the problem is, the shelf life on the stock battery was horrible. 
If you charge it right before use, it will go all day and then some but if 
you let it sit, it will only last about a month or so sitting, and use after 
a few days will get you very little life. I got the Batteries America one 
for it as a spare, and that one's a bit better but even that one, if I 
charge it and use it right away, I'll get a lot of use out of it. Let it sit 
on the radio, it's better than the stock one, but still not great.
