I am on varizon and have the 8300, I think they have replaced this with 
the 8350 and possibly the 5400, not sure of the last model.  My 8300 is 
great.  Not everything talks, but enough so I can enter phone numbers and 
names by myself.  Caller id speaks and so forth.  I'm very pleased with 
it, and as these lg phones are standard, no extra charge.
