I don't hjave a clue what lock band repeat is.  My guess would be that it
is one way.  For example, if you are set to xmit on 440 and set to receive
on two, a two signal will cause the radio to xmit.  You can't go the other
direction though because the radio can only receive one band at a time.
In true cross band repeat mode, it will go either way.  A signal on 440
will cause the radio to xmit on two, and a two m signal will cause the
radio to xmit on 440.  Only draw back to this is is you're on a repeater,
you usually have to wait for the gail to drop, unless you're doing some
fancy things with pl codes.  Once the tail drops, you can reply.

I don't know about the audio.  I'd be interested in any info you can
provide.  I have the tmv-7a in the mobile and have only put in cross band
repeat a couple times just to make sure it worked.  I'll have to do some
playing.  Where did you see info on the audio mods?
