Well, well well before all of today's problems started I discovered the
problem and source. It was a power stript that I have to power my
computer with the six outlets. When turned it off this morning the radios
shut right up. However, right now I am using an old metal strip that is
about 17 years old, and have deciedd to turn it off when the computer is
not being used. This is temporary since I will be more then likely
getting a new strip this week. As it turned out the one which I tuernd
off this morning was cracked so that explains that, and now I have a metal
one and since connecting it the white noise and buz has returned, so I am
just going to get a couple of new stript when I get my DSL router before
Ameritech arrives on Monday. I guess now my question is will the computer
have an y negative effects from turning the stiip off when it is not in
use? When I turned it on t check mail today Windows went into a safe mode
and I had totturn it off and on for it to work. Like I said I didn't
have to go to the breaker box which I was releived about.
