Hi, again, everyone.

Well, it's becoming more and more apparent that disabling the touchpad mouse
on my newly-acquired Windows XP laptop will have to be done via the bios.
This will require sighted assistance, so I'll see if I can get my XYL to
assist tomorrow.

I actually have another question about the laptop which has me stumped at
the moment.

I notice that the volume control on the laptop itself does not increase or
decrease the volume when the rocker switch at the back of the laptop, right
below the monitor is pressed.

It seems, in other words, like the laptop volume control function has been
turned off.

Can you tell me how to turn it back on, so that I can control the volume
from the laptop rocker switch itself?

Thanks, and 73 from Tom Behler: KB8TYJ
