Tom:

I always have typed my messages directly into the body of my e-mails to the
list.

I only started having this problem a day or two ago, at least as far as I'm
aware.

So far, I can't find where and/or how to make any adjustments in Outlook
2010, and I'm reluctant to do anything since this may be a problem more
closely related to the list itself.

For now, I'm going to stand by, and see how things sort themselves out. I
know Phil is working with someone who is familiar with the list server we
use, so hopefully that may ultimately bring us some answers.

tom,
Yes, and all this is to do with "mime" attachments and how your email is
encoded by your email program. now-a-days it is almost impossible to keep
email clients from doing both text and html, which creates the bottom mime
attachment.

As far as I know if you type your message directly into the body of your
email, it shouldn't do the mime stuff at the top, but not sure how you
actually do that in different emails.

As my linux email client, "mutt" generates absolutely plain vanilla text
only emails, there shouldn't be any mime stuff in my messages.
except if, like this one, I've done a reply to another message and included
the original which may have more than one mime part.
If there is, then it may have to do with the list processor.

There didn't that clear it all up? <YEAH RIGHT!>
