Hi all: 

I found a dynamic headset mic at one of my local music  stores and I'm gonna drop in tomorrow and try it out. 
It's the Apex 370. It has a frequency response of 50HZ-15KHZ and an empeedence of 600OHMs which should due nicely. The only thing is, I'm gonna have to swap the XLR for the 8 pin round. Hope it's that simple.
