I use bills to renew my faith in society. I have been given the wrong bill
twice in 40 years. I teach people how to hand me my money so I can fold it
properly. I bet that sighted people can say that they have only been given
the wrong bills twice in forty years. That re-assurance that evil is not the
behavior of the majority of people; the majority of the time; is worth the
risk. The rest of the western world has proven that tactile money can be
done; helps blind people; helps anybody who handles lots of bills; lowers
the ability to make counterfeit money; does prove that we can do it to.
Maybe after universal health care? The NFB ACB is nothing but democrats and
republicans fighting over money. How are we helped by having two conflicting
organizations with opposite messages purporting to speak for us? Look at
just the traffic on the list when the NFB comes up. Let's try PLO and see if
we get less controversy. How about ACLU; k1MAN; or maybe Talaban. Nothing
compares here to the passion generated by NFB. Watch out for the alphabet!
