Hi.

If you can afford one of those, you can afford a Kenwood TS2000S.  They 
ain't cheap, although they probably work better for HF.  What is nice about 
the TS2000S is that you get everything in one box.  Don't get the idea from 
my last post, by the way, that the TS2000S is a bad radio.  It isn't.  It 
is just that the Kenwood TS690S is noticeably better, that's all.  Both 
will get the job done, as will a K2 or K3.
