On my qsyer, there is a slight crack just about 1/8 inch above the one key, 
it is where the keypaed is inset into the case.
Follow this horizontally until it corners, then continue to tthe right and 
over the edge of the case.  Just over a third of the way down the vertical 
right side and slightly back toward the one is a small round button.
Too fully reset the unit, hold that button in for 5 (five) seconds.

What rig are you using the qsyer with?
You may not need a battery at all.
