I don't know if I'd trust either one.  What I was trying to explain in 
my previous note.  You could set the output at 50 watts in the service 
menu and set the radio so it reads 100 watts.  It is all relative.  Only 
thing I really trust, and only to a point is my seven thousand dolar 
service monitor, and I think it is a little scotch.
