I use a program called 4nt.  It is put out by the same folks who use to 
do 4dos.  You can do a copy command just as you do in dos, but it has 
all kinds of switches so you can tell it to just copy things that do not 
exist or that have been updated.  Has lots of other cool stuff built in.
