Taking echo-link check-ins during our net is something I didn't quite think 
of before.

I'm not sure exactly how it would work, but if someone wants to take the 
lead on this, let's try it.

It would be good for the person taking the lead to have some substantial 
echo-link experience, though.

Sounds interesting.
