I think this tool only preps the center conductor to fit into the center
pin of the pl-259. Some low loss cables have a center conductor that can be
a tight fit into the center pin of the connector.

If you are looking for a crimping tool for putting pl-259's on, go to his
connectors list and go to the last page (I think page 7) and there some
stripping and crimping tools. I've gotten a lot of stuff from them over the
years and they are nice to deal with.

I got a crimper for a bit less money a few months ago from the RF Connection
at:

http://www.therfc.com/

Also very nice to deal with. Tool was less than 40 bucks and connectors are
$1.75. This tool handles all RG-8 types (213, 214, 11, 9913 etc.) Can also
crimp on N connectors. Of course the connectors are special crimp on types
and not your standard solder on type.
