Hi, all.

I have been noticing a growing problem with one of my Kenwood THF6A HT's.
The lythium ion battery pack is starting to get loose in the radio. It's
not loose enough yet so that electrical contact is lost, but it does shift
around more than I'd like with only a minimal amount of force.

I don't have the stock battery pack any more, since it died about a year
ago, so this is one of the "after market" Maha battery packs.

I am traveling right now, so can't try the other one I have, but I don't
remember this particular pack fitting as loosely as it does now.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something I can do to correct
it, short of sending the radio in for servicing? Obviously, I don't want to
risk damaging anything, but I'd like to see what I can do here before
sending the radio back to Kenwood.

This is the only problem I have had with this radio in the seven years I
have owned it, and I have used it hard.

Thanks, and 73 from Tom Behler: KB8TYJ
