Some people think daylight savings time is a big business plot. In northern
climates where snow bound winter areas have limited seasonal vacation time
it gives more daylight during good weather --thus improving corporate
profit.

If the 24 world wide time zones were good enough for an international treaty
then they are good enough now. And I do think DST was started during World
War Ii because it was originally called war time. But like Steve said, it's
not an energy saver, so why falsely market it as such?
