depends on which version you get:
The basic version, or the TS2000S is around $1600 brand new I believe,
though I haven't looked in a while.
I think the ts2000X which has the 1.2GHZ module in it is around $24 or 2500.
The vs3 speech board is another 50 bucks or so, and most retailers will put
it in for free or for a relatively low cost.
There is no DTMF capability from the front of the radio, so one should also
get an MC45DM to go with the radio to access those features for VHF/UHF
work.
the radio does have beep tones for all functions including low, medium and
high pitches for certain adjustments and the selections for mic gain, carier
level, rf power and other range selections all have a beep tone at the
lowest and highest parameters of the range.
The rig also has DX cluster capability and will speak some of the dx cluster
information with the speech synth.
