    Yeah, it was really rough on 40 in the mid west yesterday. ... Don't 
know why, although Lloyd's theory about absorbtion at least with regard to 
relatively nearby signals makes sense.

At least we pulled things off, and can now look ahead to future weeks.

Tom,
The band was really dead here near Chicago.  I listened closely and
carefully for over fifteen minutes and never heard a single sound.
And I'm sure that at least one of the antennaes is up!!
