The carrying case for the THF6A does have an opening so that you can access
the keypad without having to remove it. However, the main complaint I have
is that the carrying case itself fits onto the rig quite tightly, and is a
bear to get off quickly if you want to change battery packs or something
like that.  I just got the carrying case myself--I think the number is SC51.
In fact, if anyone has any ideas about making that carrying case more
usable, I'd be interested.
