Hi,

I have been running a VanGorden all band dipole for about the last two
months. I've been very happy with it's performance. The antenna is really
simple to make and requires a tuner. It's composed of 135 feet of wire
which is cut in half and connected to 100 feet of 450 ohm ladder line. It
works everything from 160 through 10 meters though I can't use my als600 on
160 for some reason. The ladder line length is not critical as I cut mine
down to about 60 feet. I'm using a MFJ 986 tuner, and the best part is that
the antenna cost me only $27.00.

Hi;
Has anyone tried any of the b & w folded dipoles? I'm still recovering from
sticker shock, however, their catalog suggests that with a 65 foot antenna I
should get reasonable coverage from 75 through 10meters. It doesn't seem to
specify what the 75 meter band width would look like.
