Which button is that as wasn't that clear on what button needed to use to do
that which that is good to know too.

It is possible to get the radio to tell you what tone it is set on.  I'd
have to
go play with it to see how.  If you just want to match a tone of a received
signal, set the second from left button to one of the tone settings and hold
in
the function button until it beeps.  It will have set the tone frequency to
the
frequency in the signal that you're receiving.
