Personally I'd not run XP on a computer with less than 512 MB RAM though I 
guess it will do it somewhat, I haven't found jaws to use much memory in 
most cases. I can't say with 7.1 because I'm 1 of the many that can't get it 
to work anywhere near like it's supposed to but I would think if it will run 
for you, 512 or more will definitely be enough. I have 2 Gigs here.
