As far as I know, she didn't do anything for radio.  It was her
blind father Ed Walker who was the Washington radio personality.
He and Willard Scott were known on Washington radio as the Joy Boys
in the early 70's.  Nowadays, Ed Walker does an old time radio show
on the American University radio station on Sunday nights which is
streamed.  I believe the site is: www.wamu.edu but am not
absolutely sure.  73.
