I just bought a P1 from Blue Star Antennas:
http://www.bluestarantennas.com

$100 plus shipping gets you a 7-500 MHz antenna. First impressions:
Kind of a bear to tune on 40, but it's OK. The instructions to put it
together could be better. And I wish that the roll of counterpoise
wire (50 feet of insulated wire) were on some sort of easy to unroll/
roll up sort of thing to help keep it from tangling. But a nice little
antenna at a decent price, and accessories aren't badly priced either.
