Hi Tom;

This is just a guess on my part but, maybe their is a script file you need to install.

Other than that, I would say that you should run a repair on WinApm or re-install it.

Also, their may be another program taking those keys over.

Just my thoughts.

  Subject: continuing winamp problem on PC

  Hi, all.

  Well, I have an interesting dilemma here.

  I have installed winamp on both the home PC and the laptop.

  The laptop winamp installation works perfectly with Steve's MP3 audio file
  for the TMV71A. The arrow keys work, and all the hot keys for pause, stop,
  next, previous, play, etc. work just fine.

  On the PC, though, the arrow keys for volume, fast forward and rewind work,
  but the hot keys noted above don't work.

  Both machines have Windows XP.

  I installed the winamp software exactly the same way on both computers using
  the standard free installation.

  Anyone know what the difference between the PC and the laptop might be
  that's not allowing the hot keys to work on the PC?
