The method that I mentioned for connecting coax connectors that I use really 
works well for all kinds of coax sizes.  Using the metal 259 adaptors just 
doesn't work well for anyone, but filling the connector with tape seems to 
stop the corrosion problem and I've put lots of tension on my connectors and 
still no problem.  I do one more thing on 9913 coax since there is so much 
air in the line.  At the lowest point in the line, usually at a drip loop, I 
put a pin hole on the bottom side of the coax to allow any moisture in the 
coax to drip out.
