Send me a copy of the message or sheets off line please. I think f2 is
the best choice but still would like to look.

Subject: another EXCEL question

Hi, all.

Well, I survived our regional emergency response exercise today, and I'm
happy to report that using the EOC message form in EXCEL on the County
EOC laptop worked relatively well. I have found out that control shift
S is indeed the best way to switch between different sheets in the Excel
file, so that problem is now solved for me.

I did run into another problem, though, that I could use some help with:

It seems that once I enter part of a message into the message box of the
EXCEL message form, I can't edit it. In other words, if I try to go
backward and forward with my arrow keys to edit what I've done, I get
kicked out of the message box. Using the back-space key, of course,
just deletes what I've already typed in. I know there's an edit bar,
but so far, I haven't figured out the best way to get to it.

I can send a sample of the message form I'm using if that would help
diagnose the problem.

To review, I'm using Windows XP and Jaws 8.0 here.

Thanks as always for your help. I'm relatively new with Excel, but I'm
learning.
