Colin, checking the center conductor on the jumper is about the only thing I
haven't tried.
I will check the fuses tomorrow thanks for the suggestions.

well, if the center conducter in the short jumper coax broke, it won't show
a short at all...are you getting full continuity through the center
conducter of the jumper, as well as the shield?
Do you happen to have a female to female SO239 barrel connecter on hand that

you can use to connect one of the antennas directly to the short jumper to
make sure the jumper is working as it should?
But you may well be right...the tuner might have just gone south.
are there any fuses for the tuner's power source? Perhaps they are inside.
have you checked them? if it's just a fuse issue you can remedy that
quickly enough.

keep plugging away...it's very odd that the tuner would have totally
malfunctioned while it was disconnected.
