I wouldn't recommend modifying the tmv for anything passed 469995. If you
modify it for let's say even 800 megahertz, it screws up your mike. I guess
you can receive 800 megs by changing the steps so it will go there but if
you set it up to transmit there that's a problem. I certainly never heard of
this rig going up to the gigahertz. That's news to me. Of course, here at
least at my immediate qth, there's nothing up there. It could be that I
don't hear anything, but it's been brought to my attention that it's dead
there so where I live, coverage from four twelve to 469 is plenty for Uhf
and one eighteen to one seventy is pretty good also, and of course it does
am in case anyone still cares about 2 meter simplex am. It's too bad people
feel that mode has gone the way of the commodore, hi hi.
