Lower than what? The g5rv? not really. I'm not sure what you're running, 
actually let me back up, on 75 no, if anything I get more noise, the other 
bands it seems to, but I also got it a bit higher so being away from the 
buildings a little more might have made that difference. My receive though 
is all around better.
