Someone mentioned it talk, which is true, but of course, not as much as we 
all would like.  The QSY ER gets speech feedback when you used it, too, so 
that help a lot; you are not always punching the front panel speech button. 
It reads the S meter, frequencies, band modes, and maybe some other things 
I'm forgetting.  It's what happens when you get old; you know!
