Hi Jerry;
It could very well be normal then again you might just have been quiet 
enough that you were berried by other stations calling.
Just to be safe make certain that you are both transmitting and receiving on 
the same frequency.  Normally you are unless you accidentally hit a button.

I was on the radio last night.  I washearing people from Minnasota, =
Wisconsin, and canada like they were sitting in the room with me.  I =
couldn't make contact with tem though.  I checked my radio with my tw1 =
meter and eerything seemed to be ok.  I am wondering if it is because my =
dipole isn't hight enough, or is this normal.
