i guess that g5rv isn't quite the antenna all the discriptions rave on and
on and on about then if it exhibits an swr of 9 on any of the bands it
supposedly works on?
Is there some different circumstance in your qth that makes the swr that
high on a g5rv?
All the discriptions of that particular antenna claim it has a low swr
across all the bands it is designed for.
