I am curious about the two voices that are possible on the TS2000. I have
always wanted the chip to talk faster, how do I select between the voices?
is that possible? Jim WA6EKS

Yes, the pound key on the number pad. The same key you would press to
enter a frequency from the keypad. When you press it the first time,
it is expecting you to enter a frequency. When you hit it the second
time, it aborts the entry process and speaks the current frequency.

If you set the pf key to the other voice setting, it will read
frequency, but you have no other way to get the s meter reading. If
you set the pf key to read s meter, you have another option to read
frequency (mentioned above).
