Bob, As far as I know, there is no program to directly convert audible files to mp3. However,
having said that, it is quite easy to do using a program such as Total Recorder, Gold Wave, or
Recall pro. It is simply a matter of recording the audible file as it plays.

Subject: off topic audio question

This is something that I don't do very often. But I have tried every email
list that I know of that might be able to help and there has been none. So
I come with hat in hand to the hams to see if they might be able to help
out.
I am in need of converting the audible files, the ASF files, to mp3. Is
there a program that will do this.
Thanks for opening and reading and please don't hollow at me to much.
