Butch, the "cont" key is the little key between the VHF and UHF band
selectors and slightly below them.  I actually had this feature listed in
the quick ref, but if your not familiar  with this rig the entry probably
doesn't make sense.

In the quick ref, the entry:
[F][CONT] - Select VHF/VHF or UHF/UHF
Refers to this option.

You can make both bands VHF or both bands UHF by pressing [F][CONT], and
press these keys again to undo this setup.

For UHF on both bands first press VHF then [F][CONT].
For VHF on both bands first press UHF then [F][CONT].

To completely turn off VHF press [F][VHF] and of course to turn off UHF
press [F][UHF]..

Have fun with the V7, you'll soon have it mastered.
