Yes, I did, but in fairness when I used the hex beam the swr was at 
the most 1.5 to 1 and I didn't get any RF feedback.   so the Ts590 is 
a little mor forgiving with a worse swr.  It was workable though.  I 
had the 200 wat version.
I really am not finding fault with the Ts480, I had lots of fun with 
it, and I would have been quite happy with it if I didn't work the 
Ts590.  I gues I wanted to to treat myself to to a little better radio!!!
