But some folks get ticked when they are contacted by a dupe. It happened to
me once. The guy called me an uncomplementary name.

Pointless having it looking at dupes.
Just work them - it takes a lot less time than arguing the toss!

Hi All,

First post! I like the concept of NVDA a lot, but the kind of software we
amateurs use, means you often need to scout around the screen with a
navigation pointer. I use WindowEyes, and 90% of amateur programs involve
me using the numeric keypad Mouse pointer, and interacting in real time.
I'd like to hear about this from an experienced NVDA user.

Also, I'm always setting up User Windows to read and monitor areas of the
screen. For example, in N1MM I have the Dupe read automatically, and have
User Windows assigned to function keys to read serial numbers etc.

I have NVDA on my PC, but are it's more basic functions good enough to do
this kind of thing?

Best wishes, Kelvin Marsh - M0AID

Freedom Scientific probably sells most copies of JAWS to institutions and
not the individual so, unfortunately, your suggestion wouldn't help.

Just my thoughts on the issue.
