I am posting this from another list for your input directly to the =
individual.

Pat,

I will run this around on the blind hams list for input. I use simply my =
old pro2003 with mods and it is entirely keyboard driven. If you know the =
steps and functions it is straight forward. Unfortunately this one is not =
sold and becoming obsolete with turning etc. yes it takes time but I have =
never put more than a hundred channels in it so far. Remembering these is =
difficult so write a Braille list of what is where even for computer =
controlled ones.

Thank You!

SUBJECT:speech friendly programs for controlling radios N I =
was wondering how speech friendly programs like scancat gold which are =
used to control scanners and to program are. I'm contemplating the =
purchase of a police scanner and when you have about one thousand channels =
to program, that's the most effective way to do this. 73- KK3F
