If you are playing a track in winamp, and the program doesn't know the name 
of the file, you can press alt-3 and get in to the file information menu. 
In this dialog, you will find an auto-tag button.  Press this with the 
spacebar, and winamp will try to match the file with the available 
information.  I just got this to work with a cassette full of oldies, which 
I had named 001 002 003.mp3 etc.  It's not always right however.  It is very 
cool even being imperfect.  It's right around 95 per cent of the time.
