I have a friend who has one he paid around $100 for, and he swares by it.
I had one around the same price range once and I still lost a bunch of
stuff, so who knows.  It isn't a bad idea I guess, but I wouldn't count on
it protecting much.

Not much help I know, but as I siad when I had mine I still lost ham gear.
